As the season begins to draw to an end we are currently recruiting for a number of volunteers across the club that would be available to help during the 2022/2023 season.

Our community club relies heavily on volunteers to help with the rugby over a variety of roles, from Volunteer Co-Ordinator, Coaches, Team Managers, Groundsmen and Gardeners, Bar and Kitchen volunteers on match days, and everything in between. With so many roles to fill we are always looking for volunteers and appreciate any time you may have spare to help within your club, with a role that suits you. We know that for some getting involved will be a big commitment, and some volunteers will be able to offer more than others, but we really do welcome any amount of time you can offer us in whatever format that may be.

So are you interested in getting involved?

We have included a number of 'job' adverts here, roles that currently need volunteers urgently as we have gaps emerging within our Age Grade section for Coaches and Team Managers. Our Treasurer is also seeking some assistance to help ease the role with his own work/life commitments and to help ease the pressure to ensure as a team you will be fulfilling the role to aid the clubs financial responsibility.

Not all our volunteers need to sit on the committee, and anyone that might be interested in helping out during match days, with the occasional bar shift or washing up in the kitchen could get involved on an adhoc basis.

Sunday mornings can be incredibly busy for our Age Grade section and finding volunteers to be a ‘Welcoming Face’ to new and existing players and parents would also be someone that would be incredibly valued at the club. Sharing a 'weelcomeing face' role on sunday mornings on a rota basis would mean we have someone available every week that could assist with passing on information about membership, registeration, kit and games. This is an urgent role to fill and along with current volunteers that have knowledge of this information they would sit with you to help you as you get started.

For all our volunteering roles we will work with you to ensure you are comfortable with the tasks taken on, and can share knowledge and experience to help you as you help us.

So if you can offer some time or would like to get more involved please do contact us for more information, we would love to hear from you.
