As preparations continue for the 2026/27 season, Yeovil Rugby Club is inviting local businesses, supporters and members of our community to play their part by sponsoring one of our players.

Whether you own a local business, work for a company that enjoys supporting community projects, or simply want to give something back to grassroots sport, player sponsorship is a fantastic way to make a real difference.

For just £200 + VAT, your sponsorship directly supports one of our players throughout the season while providing valuable promotion for your business both online and around the club.

Supporting Local Rugby

Community rugby relies on volunteers, supporters and local businesses. Whilst none of our players are paid to play, there are still costs involved in representing the club, including annual membership, playing kit, travel and training.

For some of our younger players especially, these costs can become a barrier to playing the game they love. Player sponsorship helps ease that financial pressure, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to continue developing their rugby and representing Yeovil Rugby Club with pride.

By sponsoring a player, you're not only supporting an individual—you are investing in the future of grassroots rugby in our community.

What Does a Player Sponsor Receive?

As a Player Sponsor, your business will receive:

• Business name, logo and website link featured on your sponsored player's profile on the Yeovil Rugby Club website.
• A dedicated social media post thanking and promoting your business.
• Your business name listed alongside your player on team sheets whenever they are selected.
• An invitation for two guests to our Sponsors' Day.
• Access to the club's internationals ticket ballot.
• Your sponsored player's annual club membership paid in full.

Throughout the season, sponsored players will also help promote their sponsors by representing both their business and Yeovil Rugby Club positively on and off the pitch, including supporting promotional photographs and club media where appropriate.
