After reporting the theft of our machine through our social media channels we have received a high show of support within the community offering various ways to help raise money for a replacement. Overwhelmingly people are encouraging us to take part in a donations led fundraising such as this so that those that want and are able to contribute can and many have offered help with this.
So after much discussions we have created this crowdfunder to ask people within our community to come together and help us by donating towards the cost of a brand new replacement.
Our previous machine was an older version which had been kept at the grounds for some time, but was an essential part of the maintenance of such a facility. With some 4acres of land, and with the reliance on volunteers to keep our pitches and grounds in good order having our own ride on lawn mower has over the years kept our grounds maintenance cost at a manageable and low rate.
A new machine would not only provide us with the means to continue to keep our pitches and grounds in a safe, tidy and usable condition but would also move us into the future with both a warranty and the ability to have it covered by the clubs insurance.
