We are thrilled to announce Dave Clark as the new Head Coach of Yeovil Rugby’s Senior Men’s Team.

Dave comes with an impressive wealth of experience, energy, and a proven coaching track record that encompasses youth development through to senior rugby. His extensive journey in the game has included coaching at all levels, from U7s to 1st XV and AXV at Dorchester RFC, where he has left a lasting impact on players across generations.

From 2021 to 2023, Dave excelled as both the Senior Backs Coach and AXV Coach at Dorchester, where he implemented structured, attacking rugby while fostering a strong culture of discipline and camaraderie. His recent role as the Colts Attack and Backs Coach (2024/25) underscores his unwavering commitment to nurturing young talent and laying the groundwork for future success.

Dave’s coaching qualifications include numerous accredited CPD training courses and a Level 2 RFU qualification. His dedication to youth development is further reflected in his work at Sunninghill Prep School, where he has actively coached rugby and sport since 2021.

Moreover, Dave has made significant contributions to the Dorset & Wilts representative squads at U15, U16, U17, and U20 levels, providing invaluable insights into performance pathways and elite development. With a clear vision, a player-centred approach, and an infectious passion for the game, Dave is more than ready to lead Yeovil Rugby’s senior squad into an exciting new era. His focus on structured attack, discipline in defence, and cultivating a strong club culture positions him perfectly to drive our ambitions forward.
