A fantastic weekend of senior rugby for Yeovil, with plenty to celebrate across both sides — including senior debuts, first tries, standout performances and a brilliant away win for our 1st XV.
NORTH DORSET II 27 – 34 YEOVIL 1ST XV
What a performance from the 1st XV.
Yeovil travelled to North Dorset and came away with an excellent 34–27 victory, giving us a real glimpse of what this squad has been working towards throughout pre-season.
There has been a change within the coaching team this season, and we're already starting to see the impact on the pitch.
The rugby looked more dynamic, the skills were on show and there was real intent in the way Yeovil attacked. The work that has gone into pre-season is beginning to translate into performances, and Saturday demonstrated the exciting direction this group is heading in.
