Yeovil Rugby Club

Who are you?

We are Ramp Surface Coatings Ltd, we have been established in the area for over 20 years as an Entity, We provide Surface Coatings to the Aerospace and Defence market, we support many of the Major UK Primes and are proud to be involved in some large upcoming programmes that will support our Armed Forces for future Generations. We employ around 40 people in our Yeovil site most of whom are local to the area.  

How long you have sponsored the club?

In some form or another we have always supported the Club as Ivel and now as Yeovil RC, In 2016 I became a Group Director which allowed a small budget to be designated to community clubs, we are supporting Yeovil with Rugby, Football and netball as well as local schools,

Why you sponsor the club?

I have personally been involved in Town Rugby for over 40 years and have experienced some wonderful times and mad great friends throughout this time, The term the Rugby Family has meant so much to me over the years in good times but also in times of personal sadness of which the club were there to support me all through this. It’s nice to be able to support something I and all my friends are passionate about.

Anything else you would specifically like to add?

 I look forward to getting back to some kind of normality in 2021, I have missed the social aspect which has been a large part of my life for many years, the hard work put in by many in these unprecedented times will ensure that YRC will be there when this has long gone, and we can all go back to doing what we do well, Enjoying Rugby, Enjoying Life, Enjoying our Friends.
