Yeovil Rugby Club is delighted to announce a special awareness sponsorship for senior men's player Olly Seton, with the 2026/27 season providing an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the fantastic work of Rushton Dog Rescue.

While our Player Sponsorship programme traditionally brings together local businesses and players, this particular partnership has a slightly different purpose — using the platform of grassroots rugby to raise awareness of an important animal welfare charity.

Olly Seton | Yeovil Men – Number 8

Olly is part of Yeovil Rugby Club's senior men's squad, playing in the demanding Number 8 position.

Operating at the back of the scrum, the Number 8 plays a crucial role in both attack and defence, combining the physical demands of forward play with the ability to carry the ball, support attacking moves and link the forwards with the backs.

It's a position that requires strength, determination and a willingness to get involved in the toughest parts of the game.

Olly proudly represents Yeovil in the black and white, and for the 2026/27 season, his player sponsorship is also helping to raise awareness of a cause that extends far beyond the rugby pitch.
