For Terry Leonard, that connection began at just five years old, right here at Yeovil Rugby Club.

From those early days learning the game, developing friendships and discovering everything rugby has to offer, Terry grew up with Yeovil rugby as part of his life.

Like many players, his rugby journey eventually took him elsewhere, with a spell playing at neighbouring Crewkerne Rugby Club.

But rugby has a funny way of bringing people home.

With a new coaching setup in place at Yeovil and fresh ambition within the senior men's section, Terry has made the decision to return to the club where his rugby story first started.

It's always fantastic to welcome players into the squad, but there's something particularly special about seeing someone who started their rugby journey as a young child return to wear the senior shirt.
