Yeovil Rugby Club

Saturday 28th November 2026 | Yeovil Rugby Club | Yeovil 1st XV v Oakmedians

At Yeovil Rugby Club, rugby is about far more than what happens on the pitch. Behind every match, every training session and every player pulling on the black-and-white shirt is a community of people and businesses helping to make it all possible.

On Saturday 28th November 2026, we're delighted to be hosting our annual Sponsors Day, bringing together our valued sponsors, players, coaches, committee members and local businesses for an afternoon of rugby, hospitality and appreciation.

And what better occasion than a home fixture against Oakmedians?

A Day to Say Thank You

Our sponsors play an essential role in the continued development and success of Yeovil Rugby Club.

From supporting individual players and providing playing kit to helping us maintain our facilities and create opportunities for rugby at every level, their contributions make a genuine difference.

Sponsors Day is our opportunity to recognise that commitment and give something back to the businesses and individuals who continue to invest in our club.

Invited sponsors will enjoy a complimentary lunch, matchday hospitality and the opportunity to meet the people who make Yeovil Rugby Club such a special place.

It's also a fantastic opportunity for businesses to connect, build relationships and discover more about the club and its ambitions for the future.

Yeovil College – Our Official Matchday Sponsors

We are particularly pleased to welcome Yeovil College as our official Matchday Sponsors for this special occasion.

Already a valued partner of Yeovil Rugby Club and a proud supporter of our 2026/27 playing kit, Yeovil College continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting local sport and the wider community.

Both organisations share a passion for developing people, encouraging participation and creating opportunities for individuals to achieve their potential.

We look forward to welcoming representatives from Yeovil College and thanking them personally for their continued support.

Supporting Our Sponsored Players

Player sponsorship is an important part of our sponsorship programme, providing direct support to individual players while helping to strengthen the club as a whole.

As part of their 2026/27 sponsorship package, our player sponsors are invited to join us for Sponsors Day.

We are encouraging sponsored players to personally invite their sponsors and, where they are not involved in playing commitments, attend alongside them.

This gives sponsors the chance to get to know the players they support, enjoy the rugby together and build a stronger connection with the club.

After all, sponsorship should be about more than a logo or a name on a social media post. It's about relationships, appreciation and being part of something bigger.

More Than Rugby – Supporting Yeovil Hospital's Prostate Unit

Sponsors Day will also provide an opportunity to support an important local cause.

We are delighted to welcome representatives from Yeovil Hospital's Prostate Unit, who will be joining us to raise awareness of prostate health and funds to support their vital work.

Prostate health is an important subject, particularly within a sporting community that brings together men of all ages.

We hope that having the unit with us will encourage conversations, increase awareness and help make a positive difference beyond the rugby pitch.

We encourage everyone attending to take a moment to speak with the representatives, learn more about their work and support their fundraising efforts.

Interested in Supporting Yeovil Rugby Club?

Our sponsorship programme offers businesses the opportunity to become part of a thriving local sporting community while gaining valuable exposure and building meaningful connections.

Whether you're interested in player sponsorship, team sponsorship, matchday sponsorship or advertising opportunities at the club, we'd be delighted to discuss how your business could get involved.

Sponsors Day provides an excellent opportunity to see the club in action, meet our existing supporters and discover what being part of the Yeovil Rugby Club family is all about.
