It is with great sadness that we pass on the terrible news that former Yeovil Rugby player Danny Williams was tragically killed on Tuesday 18th August 2020 in a car accident near Kingston Lacey in Dorset.

Since we received the tragic news of the loss of Danny we have painstakingly tried to find the words to describe how we are feeling, not only as a club but as Yeovil Rugby Family.

The truth is, there are truly no words to verbalise this tragic and untimely loss.

Nothing that can be said can put into account this heartbreak, and the rippling effect it will have on us all.

We would like to take some time as a club and community to begin to comprehend what has happened and as more details are made available we will pass on to all club members.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences are with Danny’s family and friends, now and always.

“Together We Stand”

Paul McHugh

Chairman Yeovil Rugby Club
