As you will have seen on social media and the news, there have been a lot of updates recently about the return to rugby and the special measures that the clubs and societies have to put in place.
The recent change from level C to level D on the RFU Roadmap is a welcome progression in the journey to returning to rugby, but there is still some way to go.
The club has spent a lot of time and effort in preparing the facilities ready for us all to return, but there are still restrictions on the number of people we can have in the clubhouse, extra safety measures around the toilets and showers etc.
To this end and for us to put the final details to our return to rugby plan, the official return to rugby date will be Sunday 13th September 2020 for all teams to start training again in their bubbles.
But, we will not be able to have every team coming into the clubhouse for registration at the same time, so we have arranged for the following:
Sunday 13th September All mini teams (Reception to U11) can register and pay in the club house on Sunday 13th September 2020
Sunday 20th September All junior teams (U12 to U16) can register and pay in the club house on Sunday 20th September
Strict social distancing measures will be in place, so please follow the direction markings and distancing markings on the floor.
Membership and registration can be done online, if you have any issues with doing this, please contact Paul Leonard who will be happy to help.
In addition please see the following RFU guides for registering for the first time or renewing.
In addition you should be able to see the paying for membership online through thios portal or directly through the webiste at https://yeovilrugbyclub.rfu.club/products.
Please note new players are welcome to come along for 4 weeks free of charge before committing.
The new club kit shop is now open online as well, so you can buy the latest playing and leisure kit at:
https://www.oneills.com/shop-by-team/rugby/rugby-union/yeovil-rugby-club.html
Please note playing shirts will be added to the club shop in due course.
Please bear with us whilst we do everything possible to make the return to rugby as safe, organised and enjoyable as possible, but to make the return as comfortable as possible, the kitchen will be open for teas, coffees and bacon rolls as usual, but all food and drink must be taken outside to eat and drink.
We look forward to welcoming new and current Mini & Junior players, parents and families to the club.
